Covid Information Common, 2020
Rapidly deployed in March 2020 and built upon Columbia Sites administrative model. Provides an open resource to explore NSF-funded research addressing the COVID-19 pandemic.
School of General Studies, 2019
Promoted both the undergraduate and postbaccalaureate premed programs on the Columbia website, with emphasis on the student experience.
Columbia Dining, 2019
Added custom functionality to the content management system, including identifying open dining centers in real time, menus, and calorie calculators.
Columbia Transportation, 2018
Simplified presentation of transportation options, with best route and services for transportation between campuses. Requirements included custom Google map integration with vendor API.
Columbia Health, 2018
Iterative usability testing informed a new site architecture. This site presents the frequently visited feature on homepage called "How can we help you?"
Columbia University Homepage, 2018
Developed through a rigorous research process. Stakeholders included Office of the Communication and Public Affairs and Office of the Provost. User requirements included offloading content management to subdomain owners.
Columbia Research, 2017
Consolidated ten independent sites into one core site, utilizing a common sitemap. Project required engagement across ten stakeholder departments to collect requirements and address unique content and functionality needs.

Example of an department website that leverages the Columbia Sites academic model. This site meets key academic requirements such as course integration and features profiles of faculty, staff, and students.
